Strange... 1080ti and my GPU needs improvement?

I'm running an ASUS z370, i7 8700, 32gb of tridentz, evga clc cpu cooler, EVGA 1080ti, and a bunch of fans/commander pro. Thanks for taking the time to respond!

Tell me bro did you figure out the issue? was it the nvidia control panel power setting? always have it set to "prefer maximum performance" because it defaults to "optimal"

also set texture filtering quality to "high performance" and vsync off or let 3d program decide. my guess was you had vsync limiting your frames or the power setting was optimal instead of max. report back sir
