Sequential Access

These tests measure the storage device's peak throughput

• Sequential Read

This test measures the speed at which data can be sequentially read from the device. Up to 8 simulaneous read operations, 4mb in size.

• Sequential Write

This test measures the speed at which data can be sequentially written to the device. Up to 8 simulaneous write operations, 4mb in size.

Random Access

These tests measure the storage device's random access performance

• Random Read

This test measures the speed at which data can be randomly read from the device. One read operation at a time, 4kb in size.

• Random Write

This test measures the speed at which data can be randomly written to the the device. One write operation at a time, 4kb in size.
