Novabench and NVidia Optimus

Recommended Posts

I have a laptop with an Ivy bridge CPU and a 650m GPU.
However, I can't figure out how to get the benchmark to use the 650m.
Whenever I run it, it always uses the HD4000 on-cpu graphics card.
I've tried right click -> run on high performance gpu, and added both of the exes in the program files folder to use the 650m in Nvidia control panel.
Am really stumped. Anyone got any ideas?

It's possible that NovaBench is in fact using your 650 GPU, but it displaying the wrong GPU name. This will be fixed in the next release, if it is the case.

You can check by seeing if there is a difference in your graphics scores.
