Features
Result management
Every time you run a benchmark, stress test, battery test, or network test, Novabench saves the result locally. From there, you can compare scores, tag results for organization, export data, generate reports, share results publicly. Before running tests, you have the option to sync the test result to your Novabench.com account (if signed in), which will make it available at any time in your results list.
Viewing results
The results grid shows all your past results in a sortable, searchable table. Each entry includes:
- Score: the overall Novabench Score (for benchmarks) or test-specific metrics
- System: CPU, GPU, memory, and storage configuration
- Date: when the test ran
- OS: operating system at the time of the test
Separate result types
Results are organized by test type. Novabench maintains separate result lists for:
- Performance benchmarks
- Stress tests
- Network tests
Cloud results
If you are signed in to a Novabench account, you can toggle between local-only results and cloud-synced results. Cloud results include any benchmarks you have submitted or synced from this or other devices. Use the refresh button to pull the latest results from your account.
Tagging results
Tags help you organize and identify results, especially when testing multiple machines or tracking changes over time.
Custom name (Plus)
Give any result a custom name to identify it quickly in your results list. This is useful for labeling tests by purpose ("After RAM upgrade," "Clean Windows install") or by machine.
System tags (Pro)
With Novabench Pro, three system identifiers are automatically captured with each result:
- Serial number: the hardware serial number of the tested machine
- Hostname: the computer's network name
- Username: the logged-in user at the time of the test
These tags are especially useful when testing multiple machines with portable mode.
Custom key-value tags (Pro)
Create your own tag categories with up to 20 key-value pairs per result. Examples:
location:warehouse-adepartment:engineeringbuild:v2.1
Tags appear as color-coded pills on the result detail view. You can configure tags before running a test (so they are applied automatically) or add them to existing results afterward.
Exporting results (Pro)
Export your results for analysis in spreadsheets, databases, or other tools.
CSV export
Download your results as a CSV file. For performance benchmarks, the export includes:
- System information (CPU, GPU, memory, storage, OS, architecture)
- Overall Novabench Score and per-component scores
- Individual test metrics (SIMD throughput, compression speed, cryptography hash rate, 3D FPS, compute GFLOPS, memory bandwidth, storage read/write speeds)
Network test exports include server details, latency metrics, throughput, and Wi-Fi signal data. Stress and battery test exports include their respective metrics.
Sharing results
Share any synced or submitted result by clicking the Share icon to generate a link. The link opens your result on the Novabench website where anyone can view the scores, system configuration, and comparison data.
- Public results: visible to anyone with the link
- Private results: a share key is generated automatically, allowing access without requiring the viewer to sign in
Comments on results (Plus)
Comments for private results, or on private accounts are an area for you to leave notes. They are visible only to you.
If you've chosen to submit test results publicly, the Novabench.com community may leave comments, ask questions, or share observations.
Deleting results
Remove a result from your profile by opening the result detail view and clicking the delete button. Deleting a result removes it from your local results list.
If the result was synced to your Novabench.com account, it can be permanently removed from your web dashboard.
