GTX 1050 underperforming

Recommended Posts

I just bought this new laptop :

Hp Pavilion Power 15

CPU: i7-7700HQ 2.8Ghz oc at 3.4Ghz

GPU: NVidia GTX 1050 2GB

I installed novabench and I run the test , and this is the result I got :

CPU score : 844

Ram socre : 164

GPU score : 259 ( direct3D11:23FPS)

disk score : 28

At firt I thought those were normal resultats , but when I checked others pcs with the same specs , I found out that my gpu score is actually very low ( on average people are getting 500 GPU score and  7x fps  in the direct3D thing)

I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to pcs and related stuff , so I have no clue what the problem could be ,

so I am asking for your help please .

it's a laptop 1050

not desktop 1050

also goto nvidia control panel and make sure you have Vsync set to off or use application setting. also max perf and high perf settings.
