Cooling System Upgrade

Recommended Posts

My computer just crashed and my BIOS told me the CPU overheated, which I knew was kind of an issue from the start. I'm gonna buy a new liquid cooler, but I need verification that everything will work. I'm going from the stock Intel cooler to the Corsair Hydro H90 with a 140mm fan for the fan bracket on the top of my Antec 302, and I'm going to get rid of the stock 140mm Antec case fan for that. Then, I'll replace my other stock 120mm case fan on the back with a Corsair ML120 Pro (120mm fan), and I'll put another one of those on the side panel of the case. Here's a really basic illustration of how it'll look before and after.

Does all of this sound like it'll work out good and be an improvement over the stock cooling setup? I can also put 2 120mm fans in the front of the case, but I don't think that'll do much.
