Windows 10 upgrade GPU score alot lower

Recommended Posts

Okay so iv edited this post, hopefully it's clearer now.

iv upgraded my pc to windows 10 pro and now my gpu score is lower why? Is novabench not as compatible with Windows 10? All my other hardware performed the same their abouts, but the gpu scores suffered dramatically. Proof is below only days apart in the tests. All drives are current and latest f8b bios installed.

windows 7 ultimate = 3624 3d fps

Yes I can run test after test and score almost the same low score now.  Insert another drive with Windows 7 pro and you score a much higher graphics score

okay im still looking for help or advice from anyone who can help. i have done some more testing..

im now running duel boot Windows 7 ultimate and windows 10 pro

since i could not get my old score back using windows 10. i spent alot of time fine tuning and load testing to achieve a stable and powerful overclock.

the results are amazing... for windows 7...

windows 10 not so impressive...

Computer specs are:

i5 4690k overclocked to 4.5 @ 1.22 Vcore

Gigabyte G1 gaming geforce GTX1070

16g ram ddr3

ssd drives

750W power supply

what i have done is download and install drivers from the gigabyte g1 gaming gtx1070 page. and used the same version for both operating systems.

here are the results:

(Same PC same overclock, Duel boot)

WINDOWS 7 SCORE!!! (i opend the results on my win10 boot to post this, ignore the profile)

As u can see from the results huge GPU performance drop from nothing more then a OS upgrade.
