Wut??!! this is embarrassing :(

Recommended Posts

Ok, so this dude has no dedicated gpu and my gpu score is lower than him?

Also, the reason im benchmarking my brand new asus GL552vw is because i find it rather slow. Boot is fast on the other hand restarting takes triple the time(asus logo, black screen for 10 or 15 secs, then sign in screen and 10 secs later, the home screen)

My primary concern is it seriously cannot multitask! running a setup in the background will delay anything i double click on for atleast 5 to 8 secs.

i can tell this isnt normal because my older laptop was faster than this, atleast in this department , and it was a 4 years older model

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated .

Thank you!

Your CPU score is about where it should be, but your GPU score is about half of other 980Ms. Normally I would ask if it's getting proper cooling, but since it's a brand new laptop it should be.

Also worrying that you can't really multitask. Any processes in the background killing performance?

You may want to use GPU-Z to check your GPU clock speed and power draw

Thank you for the prompt reply .

i think what u meant to say was 960m. because mines the same.

Another thing i forgot to mention is it takes about 30 to 40 secs to shut down.Once the screen turns off after shutdown, the backlit keyboard takes about 20 secs to turn off and then another 10 secs for the entire system to shut down. I cant figure out what the problem is. Ill check using the cpu and gpuz immediately.
