Underperferming i5-4690K?!

Recommended Posts

I've been having the feeling that my system has been underperforming for a while, so finally decided to try and figure out what was wrong. I just upgraded from 8 to 16MB Ram, but that seemed to have no effect. Looking at my results and comparing them to other results with about the same setup, I notice that my CPU seems to be lacking quite a bit in SCORE (the average for the I5-4690K seems to be atleast 560). Ive checked the teperatures and they seem to be fine.

basically what I am wondering is, what can i do to boost the performance of my CPU up to what seems to be the average performances score it seems to get

Your CPU does seem to be a little bit under the average. It's hard to say why.

  • What OS are you running?
  • Is this score more or less consistent when you run the benchmark a few times?
