[OLD VERSION] [ADDED TO NOVABENCH 4] command line interface?

Recommended Posts

Does NovaBench have any sort of command line interface?

I'd like to set this up so it Loops continuously. I have a PC that I've been trying to resolve a intermittent BSOD when dual-core is enabled.

Thanks,
Lynster

It's not officially supported, but you can run nb3test.exe in the program directory from command prompt.

Try nb3test.exe -i 1234567

Other flags that could be useful are -r, and -f. The 7 digits after are required, but only used internally.

Nathan, I'm also interested in this topic. I'd like to run all the tests from command line, with no need for user action. Would you please explain the parameters? Are there any others, please?

Thank you in advance,
Marek

-i: integer test
-f: floating point test
-r: ram speed test
-m: MD5 test

Those are all that are implemented via the CLI. They run for a predefined time (IIRC, 7 seconds per run).

Graphics test can't be. I can't remember exactly, but I think this will work for HDD: -d 1234567path. E.g.: nb3test.exe -d 1234567C:write.file
