Hy,

NovaBech says I have a "Intel Core i7 @ 2000 MHz", but as you can see at the picture, I have a 2.6GHz i7...
Does anyone knows why NovaBench says "Intel Core i7 @ 2000 MHz"???

The same problem for my Macbook 5.1 with 2.4 GHz, only seen as 2GHz and therefore Novabench gives a lower score.
Does Novabench expect the 'standard' CPU speed for the macbook 5.1 (which is 2GHz), or does it measure realtime CPU-speed?
Or doesn't Novabench control speedstepping in the right way?

When I use Novabench for Windows on the same Macbook 5.1 in Bootcamp with Windows XP the higher cpu speed is seen and the score is also higher.

I thought this might help to find the bug....

Novabench should be measuring real speed for this listing, but due to the bug some systems do not show higher than 2GHz.

However, this speed is used only for information purposes. It doesn't affect the score. Can you tell me how much the Mac vs. Windows scores differ?

Interesting, but I can't say much without seeing the test sub-scores, if you wouldn't mind posting links to the tests.
