[OLD VERSION] loss of efficacy in HD 6850?

Recommended Posts

Hello, everyone. I thing I have a problem with my Sapphire Radeon HD 6850. I run the first benchmark en March and 4 month later in July the score in the Graphics Test is much lower than then.

Has someone the same problem as I? Can it be fixed or something, or is due of the graphic card?

The first test:

That is a significant drop. Is it consistent across multiple tests?

Is the card getting sufficient power? Check the power connections or your PSU. Another possibility is that your card got disabled and you are actually using your motherboard's integrated graphics, and Novabench is reporting the wrong GPU name.

OK I think I have found the issue.

I had the same loss as you, look in my profile to see results. I then had the idea of what could be using the processing power of both? ATI Catalyst Control Center. I went and disable it from start up and my score almost tripled.

Try disabling CCC from start-up and then report back please.
