Hardware score question

Recommended Posts

Hi, I was wondering how this is scored.

At first it seemed to reflect the size of the drive as well as the transfer rate, but i have seen some anomolys. I have one system with SSD's in RAID 0 that have a transfer rate in excess of 400mb/s in other bench tests, but here they arnt scoring well. Another system is scoring very low and has a transfer rate closing on 250mb/s with the exact same SSD only not in RAID 0.

Excellent program btw, thankyou.

This is another one of my systems that has a standard 500gb SATA HD, Its scores higher in the hardware section which looks to confirm that the size is taken into account to, but is by far the slowest of the four.

Now here's the anomoly...

This has an SSD for the OS, and a HD for data, Its a very fast machine but scores extremly low even though it has a large amount of drive space. Interested to know how its worked out. Thanks and sorry for the barrage of posts ;)

Hard drive size is being phased out as a score measurement. Currently the Mac version of the program doesn't count drive size. Windows will soon follow.

When both versions no longer count drive size, the current scores in the system will be updated to reflect this.
