Hi Nathan,

Thanks for answering.

It is not a laptop, the graphics card is almost new o bougth it 2 months ago I had to choose this one because it was the only one, of the new, that could be installed on the motherboard dock.

PS: the hard drive is a 80G just for the OS and the programs then I have another one 250G for all the other stuff

Any suggestions??

Regards
Bruno

Your graphics card is alright, if you don't plan on running newer games at full settings.

Your can test your different hard drive speeds from the tests menu. Is your 80GB hard drive older?

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for your help.

The drive is a bit older, like 3 years of use.

I've just formated the drive this nigth and the result is almost the same 392, do you think a new drive would improve the result?

these are my drive details:

MAXTOR STM380215AS
Fabricante FUJITSU

Cylinders 16383
Tipo de SATA SATA-II 3.0Gb/s

A faster (newer) drive would increase your score a bit, but the real effect would likely be a faster Windows boot-up.

What's the speed of your 250GB drive? You can test it from the test menu; a drive selector will come up.

I've tested bouth with tester from the menu and the results where:

80G drive 56Mb/s
250G drive 59mb/s

probably the ploblem with the low score is somewhere wlse but I really can't figure put were.

Thanks
Bruno

Many of the higher scoring PCs have much higher graphics card scores. Yours is on par with 8400s, but it's a lower end card. Your CPU score is very good.
