Your computer will definitely work well for most video editing. Having a windows bootcamp partition won't affect your score.

SSD seems to be the weak link here, or am I missing something?

at least I now have a stable pc again, thanks for the benchmark.

Hello everyone. Just found this site a couple days ago. I'm a complete idiot when it comes to computers so chances are I ran the test with something running in the background. Anyway, I was hoping someone could tell me if I made a good decision with this laptop purchase. Just paid $280 for this computer a day before I ran this test. Bought it off of Craigslist. The seller originally had it listed for $320 but I managed to talk him down some. Everything seems to be in great condition.

Thanks for the response sir. I'm kind of kicking myself for buying this laptop vs the other computer he has listed. It's a Dell Precision T5500 Xeon Quad Core workstation. Has 6 GB of RAM, 120 GB SSD boot drive and 2 TB HD. I don't really know what all that means but it sounds impessive lol.

Yeah it is. Not by much though. It is listed for $400 vs $320. Oh well, I'm pretty satisfied with this laptop so far. Now I just need to do some research on improving performance.
