My second post here. ( the first was on a nearly 3 yr old comment .. jeeez). Question - My Novabench scores are higher using an EVGA GTX 980ti, than an Asus Strix GTX 1070 Gaming card. The Strix has a higher base, and boost speed. I am unclear as to why this is. Does the fact the ti has 384bit band width vs 256 on the Strix? Thanks Novabench .. Since I've found you, I've made a habit of using this tool to check a PC before I buy it (used of course).
I really need help! I like playing simulator games on my pc, but whenever I try to boost the graphic settings to ultra, the game goes reallllyyy slowwww. I want to play with the highest settings possible without the game jittering. I seem to get the same problem with most games. What component do I need upgrading? I own a Lenova H330 desktop pc, and have not upgraded anything yet, but kept everything as it's default state from when I bought it. I am not to wise with this kind of stuff, and I know you men always know what your talking about when it comes to techinal problems. Please help! Hi all, I started using an old dekstop pc again after 7 years due to the failure of my latest laptop (...and having some end-of-study financials). I have tuned it to the best of my capabilities but I was wondering what my next step should be. I am trying to get some half decent gaming out of it (i.e. running Oblivion smoothly). For all major changes to the system I need a new mobo (i.e new processor, ddr3 RAM) so if i am heading in that direction I might as well buy a completely new system and only use the casing. What would happen if i put some half decent cheap new videocard in here and 2GB extra RAM? How far would this system go? Thanks in advance!
