  2. Hello, I have a brand new SSD (crucial MX300) in a fresh installation of my hackintosh with Sierra 10.12.4 on a rock solid overclocked i5: i5-760 (first generation) 2.8 @ 4ghz 20x200 and Memory running at 1600 Mhz, almost working but the graphics, with the following results: Intel Core i5 running at 4GHz Asus GeForce GT 610 Mac OS X 10.12.48GB RAM (Score: 162)- RAM Speed: 5227 MB/sCPU Tests (Score: 512) - Floating Point Operations/Second: 161866176 - Integer Operations/Second: 332425984 - Hashes Computed/Second: 1200510 GPU Tests (Score: 0)- 3D FPS: 0Disk Tests (Score: 12)- Write Speed: 33 MB/s (installed in HDD) Reinstalled with brand new GTX 750 ti, Nvidia Wed drivers installed and updated in config.plist use clover, now graphic acceleration works, but my CPU and RAM performs half some hours ago: Intel Core i5 running at 4GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti Mac OS X 10.12.48GB RAM (Score: 148)- RAM Speed: 2540 MB/sCPU Tests (Score: 240) - Floating Point Operations/Second: 80833472 - Integer Operations/Second: 152541184 - Hashes Computed/Second: 537284 GPU Tests (Score: 181)- 3D FPS: 583Disk Tests (Score: 38)- Write Speed: 159 MB/s Which can be the reason to perform so bad? 3. I am new to Novabench. Very nice little benchmark program, nice job and thanks. A customer was in my shop yesterday, and he was complaining that his new HP laptop with an i5, upgraded from W8.1 to W10, was slower than his older laptop. I needed something I could put on his computer for him so he could go home and run it to see exactly how well his laptop was doing. Novabench fit the bill perfectly, and he was impressed that it was free. I told him how to upload and compare his scores. So, I decided to run it on my bench computer out of curiosity. Unfortunately it freezes during the memory test. I am using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit on a Gigabyte DX10 (GA-MA78GM-S2H) motherboard An ATI Radeon HD 3600 video card 2GB of A-DATA 1066 DDR2 and 2GB of Kingston 1066 DDR2 AMD Phenom 8550 Triple-Core processor @ 2.2GHz Patriot Inferno 60GB SSD I have not had any problems with this computer, and I keep it in excellent condition. Not a single crash or glitch in the last four years since I installed this motherboard. It's not an overly big deal since I really don't need a benchmark for my computer, I just wanted to see what the score would be. So, this is really just FYI. Novabench runs the tests. The memory test starts and after about 15 seconds it moves from the centre of the screen to the lower right corner, and at that point it just stops working. I have left it for 15 minutes and it never completes. I end up having to use task manager to shut it down. Once again, nice little utility. I will tell all my customers about it when they ask how to tell if their computer is running at top speed.
  4. I tested my two computer, both shows pretty low RAM speed 6000MB/s and 7000MB/s. When I looked other users' scores with DDR3, easily touch down any over 13000MB/s. What is wrong with my computers? Those rams are plugged in dual mode in motherboard. Still I think it's quite low comparing to others. 1st one: FX-8350 DDR3 G.Skill 1600 4x2GB gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 2st one: A105880K G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL ASUS A85XM-A FM2 AMD A85X (Hudson D4) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
  5. I recently replaced two 2gb Kingston 1333 ram sticks with two 8 gb DDR3 1600 Crucial (Ballistix PC3-12800) sticks. I went into the BIOS and increased the memory to 800 Mhz (1600) and reran the Novabench. With the 4gb the score was 112 and 3560 mb/s. With the 16 gb the score was 194, but the speed was only 3425 mb/s, and that is after changing the bios. Why the lower speed?
