  1. Tests were run on maximum performance, and with AC power on. I tried a overclocking tool and after disabling the overheat protection the laptop regained performance. For some reason that setting was active and keeping the processor at 790 MHz, after disabling it the processor moved freely up to 30 GHz. I contacted DELL, they sent a technician and changed the laptop board. Everything is back to normal after that. Thanks
  2. Temperature seems ok, (see attached). I noticed something else, while running CPU-Z, the processor core speed never goes above 798 MHz. (attached) I would expect this processor to go to 2.1 GHz. Any advise on whether that is the issue or just another symptom of something else that is wrong with the machine?

  4. Hi, Just ran an overall test of my pc and below are the results. Are these results inline with the hardware specs? I feel the laptop has significant lost performance over the last year.
