  1. Never mind, after reading this thread I realized I had the same question...
  2. Hi all, today I used Novabench to determine how fast my newly bought SSD was able to read and write. According to Samsung Magician its up to par, or even slightly better! But Novabench says this: Hardware Tests (Score: 25)- Primary Partition Capacity: 111 GB- Drive Write Speed: 182 MB/s I would love to know what may have caused this discrepancy... I have attached a screenshot of my results with Samsung Magician. Thanks!
  3. I can confirm the MBP won't recognize anything over 8 GB's of RAM.
  4. Listening to "Ain't nobody but me" by Supertramp
  5. Thanks, does it seem quiet here, or is that normal? and what's with the 'Score Not Found' ?
  6. Did a bit of an upgrade, as in a new graphicscard :)) more tweaking... some OC'ing
  7. I totally agree with that, thats why I installed 7 back on it. It was actually just a bit of a tryout, although the difference seemed more than what the numbers show. This may not be an accurate notion, I think the benchmark program is great.
  8. Installed XP x64 today, runs better except for the graphics..... working on that :)) 12/11/2011 9:25:36 PM Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition Intel Core2 Q9550 2.83GHz @ 2833 MHz Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series 8191 MB System RAM (Score: 156) - RAM Speed: 4083 MB/s CPU Tests (Score: 405) - Floating Point Operations/Second: 102156788 - Integer Operations/Second: 331481320 - MD5 Hashes Generated/Second: 947765 Graphics Tests (Score: 407) - 3D Frames Per Second: 1138 Hardware Tests (Score: 43) - Primary Partition Capacity: 488 GB - Drive Write Speed: 126 MB/s
  9. Hi all, I have this Fujitsu Siemens Amilo 7830 laptop which belongs to my daughter of 9 yrs old, and when I run Novabench, it prompts me that there's a pixel shader 1 faillure. Now, I have updated the directX runtime to 9.0 or at least I think I succeeded in doing so, but the issue persists. Is this a hardware related problem, or is the hardware just too outdated to even run a 3D environment in? It has a Pentium 4 2.83 [email protected] Hz processor 1 Gigabyte of RAM ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 Graphics processor. I am aware of the fact that this is not the most up to date configuration, but the strange thing is, the mountain is visible in the 3D test, and the sun too, but the sea and the sky isn't, thats just black, which leaves me to believe that it is possible but there's just something I'm overlooking. Thanks for any assistance :))
  10. Hey all, a peek at my system, don't hesitate to comment :P After some tweaking and cleaning: 11-12-2011 1:05:56 Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Intel Core2 Q9550 2.83GHz @ 2833 MHz Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series 8192 MB System RAM (Score: 156) - RAM Speed: 4080 MB/s CPU Tests (Score: 403) - Floating Point Operations/Second: 102167512 - Integer Operations/Second: 332342624 - MD5 Hashes Generated/Second: 931355 Graphics Tests (Score: 417) - 3D Frames Per Second: 1163 Hardware Tests (Score: 33) - Primary Partition Capacity: 488 GB - Drive Write Speed: 75 MB/s
